i just hatched my first egg today i was so excited u would have thought it was my child i will post some pic later how long before they should be banded , leave the nest and when to put in the kit box

Awesome.. Congratulations! Its a good felling especially when its the first. You can band him right around 6 days old.. that would be the best. Good luck with it! I wait for the chick to be eating on his own to move him to the kit box.. This is sometimes right around 30 days..

i just want to do everything the right way so i ask alot of question and i think everyone for the input kopetsa is always giving me great advise along with eveyone else here i have visited other forums and no one really wanted to help u they would always refer u back to a book like they were to good to give advise
