here's a 3 cubic ft box I'm finishing up for a buddy.I suggested a 1x1 wire floor but he didn't want it:/ I think its a good size for up to 20 something roller.

That will work fine, but why not work around standard lumber dimenisions. 4' high, 4 wide, and 3' deep? You get more birds in for the same bucks, with better ventilation in the middle. The 3' depth makes it easy to reach the back perch's.

I have a kit box that holds 40 birds it is a 3x3x3 and i have box perches that is 7x7 x4 inches deep my othe kit boxes are 3x4x21/2 it holds 25 birds. the reason why I have a lot of birds in the 3x3x3 is that is the young birds and when i see young ones start to roll i move them up into the 3x4x21/2 kit boxes and work from there.

1/2" sheathing-ply.Particle board won't last as well unless you paint every edge 2 coats, and maintain the paint in good shape so water can't penetrate it anywhere. ---------- Kel. Rum-30 Lofts
