Just wondering, is this good feed to give my flyers? Should I eliminate anything or add anything? Should I add some pellets too and give this to the breeders?

Kopetsa,

That looks like racing fuel.
You have to keep control of the rollers and its not a rocket science.
A good 12-14% mix will do it in the right amounts.
Wheat/Milo/peas, I prefer Canadian but Austrian will do with some oil seed just prior and during the moult.
Keep it simple and feel your birds you fly often to know when they are in good fly fit condition.
They will also let you know in the air what they are about
with the length time they fly.
Don't go on how they act because they are little actors and
they say they are hungry when they are not.
From what I see there is ALOT of unessasary seeds there.

Interesting looking mix there,eh,but very little wheat in it.If you can find a place that sells individual bags of all the various seeds and mix your own feed Andrew, you'd be better of.With kitbirds wheat tends to become what you feed them alot of and it is cheaper than the other seeds, for example Y/B kitbirds in my loft get 4 parts wheat/1 milo/1 peas/3/4 safflower.they do just fine on that.

Kopetsa today i bought hard red wheat from the organic health store it is nice and clean? I bought red wheat from my feed store and the red wheat is mixed with white wheat more white wheat than they use to sell before and the wheat was dirty. LOL the guy at the organic health store asked me what was i going to do with all that red wheat I told him it was for my pigeons he looked at me and told me man those would be good eating organic fed pigeons HMMM LOL i told him I dont eat them i just (moderated) them out and throw them away he thought i was on drugs LOL. Oh yah a bag of so called red wheat from the feed store 21.00 the feed from the organic health store 64.oo Hey maybe i better start eating my (moderated) LOL.

kopetsa.....I would get rid of the corn. The wheat/milo/
peas would be a good basic feed to start with. And tweek it up where ever you see fit.

I found that BIG LOTS has wild bird feed, it looks like reg pigeon mix the diffrence is .. no pea's, the corn is cracked, ( the corn is reg to small size )and it has some black sunflower seeds mixed in I picked up two 5# bags $ 1.33 each my birds eat it. my birds on't like the pea's anyway.

in a pinch check it out..
