Why do people play favor and game in the hobbie we love...

Do we have to fly the rite color to win?
Do we have to fly the rite family of rollers to win?
(sometimes it seem like that)
Do I have to kiss the rite ass to score points?
Why do certain flyer get to pick if they fly early or late?

Their are many other question...

On the forum everyone has the rite mind to make everything work but in person and at the club its a different story?
This is what I see when I go on flys in my club and other roller clubs..

Can we do something about this?

HA! Andy, you better be into the rollers cuz you love em'. Once, when I was a young teenager, I was at Bob Scott's house and he offered to give me a bird but only if I REALLY loved them.

He asked me again when he handed it to me and looked me in the eye, I knew if I did not, he would know and I would not get the bird. He put it in my hands...

The club has its place, but don't let a club define your enjoyment of them, if you do, you'll be into hamsters in a year. JMO

Hey bman, that's swell that it's working for you. Doesn't sound like Andy is having the same experience though...

Hi Andy,
Sorry to hear your a member of such a poor club.. I have always found that the local club is where you find Sanity..
To answer your question. No you don't have to fly certian colors to win.. Look at Joe Bob, Cliff Ball and Jay Yandle for examples. Jay is the president of the only National roller club in the USA of any merit! You don't have to fly certian famillies in any fly I have ever flown in to win.. Look at the top ten in the WC and you will find almost as many different familys winning.. What you do have to do is field the best team of rollers. Some guys think if they don't win, they have been cheated.. Usually if you don't win, its because you didn't fly the best kit.. If you breed color birds and your not winning.. Fly a kit of blue bars that don't roll and you will find you won't win either. I'll take that bet.. Just work harder at flying a kit so good it can't be denied and winning in any fly is just around the corner.. Just my honest opinion based on flying rollers for over 28 years. KGB

There is no such thing as the right color or family to win! Never kiss any ones ass! If you don’t know if you have good birds, invite someone with a good reputation of having good birds watch your birds fly, then you will know if its your birds that suck or your club.

Tony, U know it...LOL

My roller club is cool...I have no problem with my club...
KGB, I understand...I have met you along time ago at the age of 16 that was like 12 to 13 years ago...
Your a cool person...One of the best roller guys around...

Here is my next question:
Do senority matter in a club and do guys with a better flying record have first pick on the better day and time to fly?
Why do club memeber always use politic in a roller club to go against one an another just because one person in a club don't fly the same family of birds like everyone else or see eye to eye?

all I had to do to have some decent flys was start with some decent Birds, get out in the yard every day at 0500 hrs even on my days off and fly some Birds , not stay in bed and dream of flying good kits or complain about club politics . a good kit can not be denied.

I needed some luck as to when its my time to fly... but incase I dont get a early time I dont worry becuase not only do I get up early to fly , when I get home from work I also fly Birds , so that in case if I ever have to fly in the afternoon my Birds will not be shell shocked because of flying at a strange time.

I have never been cheated in any Fly I entered by any judge , I only hurt myself by changing things at the last moment thinking I would get more roll out of the birds.

also remember you just cant let the Birds out of the kit box and go inside the house and play gameboy you got to stay under the kit and watch what the Birds are doing in the air as you will have to pull the problem Birds out and put a nice team of Birds together to have a nice chance at scoring some points.

well I hope you have more success in the future with your Birds and Club.. and remember no one can keep a good person down and a good kit cannot be denied..

And never kiss no ones ass KICK there ass !!! in the Flys of course LOL
