Hot generaly means un-stable,personaly I don't care for such birds as instable and roll doesn't have to go hand in hand.

That could be why I have had 4 uncontrolled birds huh? I know you wouldn't have them Scott, they are red. I have a few black ones out of this line too.

Just that I thought all your birds were black or very dark checks. No color at all to them. Nice bird though but kind of hard to (I edited this portion)see who is who when flying.

Bert,
Start by remouving from your loft birds that bump coming down to land or out of the kit box. Breed from birds that you have flown more than 1 year and had good control and were abouve average from your other birds. Then you start replacing your stock birds every year by better birds.
Or start by buying good stock. faster but will need to buy them.
Don't keep roll downs.

Thanks quickspin for the information. So far I haven't had any bumps but a few picked up way to many rolling jeans. I won't use them for anything but fosters next season.
I started out with two GREAT lines but found as I started breeding them I didn't have enough room for two lines so I had to get rid of one and just concentrate on this line. I don't want to mix any other line in this line until I see what I come up with here. I'll watch for the bad signs and weed them out as I go.

Oh I didn't know that Scott. I thought it was all blue checks. Sorry about that. I haven't really seen many of your birds I guess.
