Hi all, my name is Frank. New to the site. I like it!!! Intresting topics to learn here. I am from San Diego.
Was wondering if anyone knows who uses VASD bands. I flew out my birds this morning and noticed my bird doing 40 to 50ft. But when they all traped in I realized It wasn't mine. It has a 07 VASD 015 band on it. Trying to locate the owner. Would like to meet him. His bird is deep, clean roll and frequent want to know more about his birds and where he can pick up his bird.

Hi Frank,
Thats my band. That bird was stolen from me I would say about 3 months now. The person who stole him probably tried to fly it. Please get back with me at varreola@cox.net. Thanks for posting.

So is some one around your area that has those stolen birds. Try to visit a couple of guys around there and look up the NBRC to see who are close to that area.

I still say it should be legal to cut off the hand of whomever stole the bird. I bet it would make the next one think before they steal a bird.

Thanks for the welcome. Thank You Chewy for the information. I got in contact with the owner, very nice guy. He will be coming over today to get his bird.
As for thives, I say hang' em.

sir frankie your a cool dude not to many guys would have reported finding a bird as good as the one you found. you got my respect and im sure many others on this site . to bad there arnt more good guys like you lift in this world once again right on you are a cool dude
