Is there anything you can do for a bird that is just wasteing away? I have had several young birds(always the favorites!) about two months out of the nest that just stop eating,it seems and dry up. They are always pecking around on the floor but don't seem to be taking in any nourishment. Will 4in 1 take care of this? Can you bring them back once the have started?

Are you saying they are pecking at the food but dont seem to get anything from it or are they not eating? I had one trying to eat seem as if he was blind and never land his beak on the food. i cull him i tried everything but he was a gonner.

Tnokie, what I do when I have young not trying to eat is throw a few grain down their throat and make them drink by dumping their heads in a water bottle, if this does not work after a day or two I will return them to their parents. Good Luck. ---------- Sal Ortiz

Paratyphoid ,need baytril if you can get your hands on it, next option for me would be sulmit, treat everything and sanitize, the use apple cider vinagar in water for the acidity. If you have it like this now, winter and weter weather will have them dropping like flys, you have to get a handle on it fast. ---------- Just my Opinion Scott
