i have a hen with a squab in the box its about 2weeks old now she went into another box and laid a egg is this normal and will she continue to finish feeding the squab

i think that it will continue to feed the squab...i had one lay in another nest box and she still fed her young the coc$ might keep feeding it if she doesn't...JMO

Jerry that is normal the hen will start a second brood and the cock will finish raising the other brood.

im starting to get worried the coc or the hen has not been feeding the squab only sitting on the new egg should i move the young to the nest with the eggs
