I had a perfectly healthy bird here and i just put it in my pen i use to take pics i pull the bird out of the pen put it in the old kit box to hold it in there until i put the cage back and it got out them when i caught it the bird just died in my hands and i dont know why and i was not squeezing it hard or any thing this ruined my day seeing as i was expecting some thing good out of this bird

Never happened to me with a bird, but I caught a bullfrog by the legs and it died in my hands and was not injured in the least. I think it went into shock with fear and the little ticker stopped.

I believe it is heart failure...why that might be is...just because we scare the damn out of them...

Yes ,it is definately stress ,i have seen it several times over the years ,the other thing that happens often is a quite healthy bird will come down with an illness after changing lofts they are almost human lol, they dont like a change of surcumstances/habitat and will sometimes die,jim uk.

im guessing it was a heart attack then seeing as it was perfectly health and kopesta the bird was fairly tame i handle my birds daily so they wont be so afraid of being touched or grabbed when changing lofts and this bird was not even a year old it had only been flying for about 2 months
