my birds always seem hungry they will eat as long as feed is in front of them be strong maybe u should adjust ur feed a little more wheat or less tweak it till u get what u want not only that they could be locating themselve learning the area or they could be going else were to eat

Hello:

Dumb question....Are you feeding them & then flying them or do you feed them after they fly?

I was just making sure.....that's why I called it a dumb question...My suggestion to you is to cut the feed and get total control of them and increase the feed only when you have control of them.

Mario:

Where are you from? And what family of birds are you trying to fly? And what are you feeding them...12%, 14%, 16% pigeon mix or you own mix?

WELCOME ..
----------When you feel your bird in your hands do they feel light or just right? take those birds and lock them up for a week and feed them all they want on first day ,day two- 2 cups for 20 birds day three 2 cup day four 1 cup day five 1 cup day 6 and 7 no feed let them rest their organs on those rest day give plenty of vitamins in the water,pro-vital .then on fly days take away the water with vitamins and give plain water.now on the 5th day they should feel heavy from all that food and rest ,when you feel them and they if they still light .you need to worm those birds the worms are eating all the nutrients .
I finish doing this to my birds they were flying high and for 1 hour and 20 minutes and thats on a table spoon of mix each.so I did just what i describe above and sure enough after worming them now they they taking in all the nutrients from the feed. and I feed them 14 tablespoons to 20 birds and add a little more if i have to or less .they flying low 300 to 400 feet performing better and flying 30 to 40 minutes kitting tighter than ever.I do this once every three 4 month or so .depending what i see in the sky..you have to fatten them up to get them down low again, sometime they too fit and even on a small amount of feed they will sky out..good luck..

Hello:

Since I have never been to Quebec, try cutting them down to 12% for your flyers. It get's cold up there in the Fall & Winter & I have never flown birds in the cold before, so you should talk to John Weins, he lives on the west coast of Canada, he may be able to help you out........Glenn
