Just able to get to a computer. this has been one of the toughest times in my cerrer.. I am on the Iron complex west of Redding calif. on the 25th a young guy was killed.. he was on the same strech of line as me.. a tree came back and basically smashed him....I herd it on the raido so myself and another went down to help in the construction of a extraction point...we did that and packed him out.. to a waiting costguard helo.. I was with him the last few minutes of his life... he was only 18 and it was his first fire!!! Im just kinda on auto-piolit till the 1st then I will be hedding home.. I really miss the site the bros and the sises.... thank you for being there and your time

Take care in the bush there Booker.Dangerous stuff.Used to volunteer here on the island but leaving it to the younger guys now.When the rains come again we want you back here in one piece.

Thanx guy's I just cant wait to get home... and fly some rollers, to get my mind off this stuff... I attended a critical debrefing last night and it kinda helpes... and I was able to get alot off my chest... till next time

Take care Booker. I thought of you when I heard that on the news the other day. Thats a sad thing to loose one of you own on the job. Been there too many times myself.
