My computer will not open the picture that you posted.I seen a black and white picture of her in a book that I have. I think she was a blue or red grizzle....maybe. Carl Hartesty owned her, but I think Tony did raise her.

I believe you. My memory is not what it needs to be. Plus the book that I have has lots of pictures in it. Did not have it with me to confirm what I thought. I must have another bird in my memory. Picture books are about all I can handle..LOL.

Talked to Don Simpson about the back ground of the Shooting star the other day. He said that she is out of a red grizzle male that he raised and a Dilute Blue Bar hen from Franky Reese.

Don said that she looked like his foundation bird the Old Almond Cock in the air. Remember, her dad was a son to the old almond cock. As far as the relatives Don has a loft full of the old almond strain.
