Hate to disappoint you. But latter you will find out that it is too small for either.

Jay has a good point. I am not a very big operation and I will have 4 X 16 worth of kit boxes; a 8 x 8 breeding loft; a 5 X 8 holding loft; and a cage of individual breeding holding 8 individual pairs. My operation is dwarfed by most. You always need to go bigger than your plan it seems.

Yea it is always better to go bigger...

But there were many factors that coudln't allow me to go bigger such as school, money, and permission from my parents.

Plus im just starting out with this...if I see down the road I enjoy keeping pigeons i will save up money and build a kitbox or another loft...

looks like a great starter loft to me. I wish I had something like that when I was growing up. We built our lofts out of anything we could find or drag home. Sounds like you got a plan already. Just remember , this pigeon bug will usually stay with you a lifetime once started. Even If you leave the hobby you`ll be back. Have you decided what birds you`re going to put in it yet?

Butch is right I remember too when i started with scrap i found in the garbage and it wasn't much but lucky for pigeons are happy anywhere you make a home for them but even happier if kept healthy. I wish too that kitbox was my first .so you go boy and enjoy your hobby..One day you will have your own place and I know you will make a mansion for your birds looking at what you made now..so good luck..

Sundance im not 100% sure as far as what kinda birds ima get. Im debating with Doneks vs Rollers... Most likely will just get Rollers because I have friends that can start me out with some...

jnyce iv heard lots of good things about them as well. However I dont have the money to buy any at the moment. The rollers I will be getting from friends will be free. So once I start out with those guy and fully catch the roller bug i will most likley start expanding and looking at the differnt Rollers.
