I just pulled a squab out of the breeding pen cause the parents were giving him the boot when i noticed a lump in the throat area. It's like the size of a penny solid and stuck can't really move it around too much. I looked down the beak and it's light yellow in color. Is it a tumor or an infection? Does anybody have an idea what this could be!

If it looks like a lump of yellowish cottage cheese it is canker. If it is it could have been from an cut or scrape while being fed. I have also had oyster shell cut some once in a while.
