I waited to long to band one of my best pairs squabs (about the 13 or 14th day). The squab is a muff..anyway of banding the bird without messing his pin feathers up?

You can cut the feathers off..

you can cut the band,but it will take two poeple to put it on.

Victor, what cut it and bend it back on with pliers or something?

You can buy numbered split bands if you are interested in just keeping the information. I use them for some I miss occasionally. I also bought larger bands and have had to use them when I miscalculated how long to wait.

wire cutters should do the trick metal bands cut real simple. bend back in place

Places like Shows will not accept cut bands will they? I don't think so!
