Seven dust! You can get it at any garden center and its cheap!I get mine at Wal mart and I have used it for years. I dust my birds with it, put it in the nesting bowls under the nesting material and in all the cracks and crevisis in the loft! Works great and did i mention its cheap? ---------- Val

A while back some one posted a recipe for ants that works good. Hope it helps:
"Several days ago I was having a problem with fire ants in the breeder loft and I remembered a bait recipe I got from my father years ago. I mixed some up and sure enough three days later they are gone. Mix 1/3 boric acid powder, 1/3 corn meal and 1/3 confectionaries sugar (powdered). You can get the boric acid at most pharmacies or Wal-Mart. Place a small amount in a dark dry area where your birds or other pets can't get to it. The ants or roaches take the bait back to the nest and end up killing it. Don't know if it will work on other pest insects. I never saw a roach in the house as a kid and till this day my Dad keeps a couple jar lids with this mix throughout the house."

I`ve seen that before too Jay. The boric acid is the key. It just needs to stay dry and a small amount goes a long way. ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts

I use ant posion with Fipronil in it. I put it out around the yard, barn, flower beds, and house. Keeps fire ants away for one year, fleas and ticks for three months. Put it out with a hand held fertilize spreader. I think it is called Over and Out.
