To have a different type of flying competition for depth. With an all new set of rules. The deepest with the best quality spin gets high scores. But no rolldowns. It would be a show to watch 100ft. plus birds in action.

Many cant agree on rules and standards for judging the flys we already have. I dont think we need any new comps. But ,ya it would be cool to see that kind of "SHOW"

There is a set of rules for single bird performance. Depth and quality play a large part in it. Just not many want to raise individual birds.

Rollsofurry - Your idea is ok if you have a group of individuals who breed for that purpose. Do not let anyone tell you that your idea is nonsense or that the rules today are infallible. The problem today is that individuals do not want to have intelligent discussions for growth and believe that their way or none other. You are on the correct path and never let anyone brainwash you to their way of thinking.

I have never seen a 100 footer hold it together for the entire 100 feet. The bird losses something after about 40 feet.

hey nick I have witness approx. 500ft. not so tight but with good velocity and no change on the roll. The bad thing about this bird it was a rolldown. I have also witness lehmyer go deep deep with no change up on the roll.

I have focused on the indivual performer, my whole time with rollers... the comp thing came sceond... with the comp thing it kinda puts a limit on the roll itself. From this people strive for smaller birds more frequent and shorter in the roll... Thats why you here alot of guys say that they cant hold the roll after so many feet, in my opion when the deep roller reveals itself, it dosent have the body to hold the roll, I really like smaller rollers but dont really breed for them ither way, if I getum cool. With my family larger birds work for me as I need a stronger build to contend with the conditions in my local area. So my deeper indivuals seem to be the bigest... just my opion..

I thought thats what the 11 bird fly was for the deepest birds score the best/more points etc. Check the NBRC web page go too the rules segment under 11 bird fly and it tells you what and how the birds are scored.
