Geez whiz... been really busy lately. Got the young birds to start rolling nice now for weeks now. The young birds are starting to get with the program, you can actually see my grin get bigger with each passing day.
Just got my new HD cam and will hope to test it out soon on the birds. Got a real nice deep and super fast bird I would like to take some slow motion footage off. Also need to start painting some wings on the 08s. Lost a few all ready to the usuals, MIA... sky sharks... RD... etc.
Been feeding the fliers straight wheat and they are starting to get really dangerous. Might be the moult that is causing them to roll like this. I'm usually locking them up during this time of the year getting them to moult out correctly. Not this year. Fly, fly, and fly some more has been the regular.
On a side note, my old birds (the Ouellettes that is) are starting to get real deep and real fast now. I find it weird how long it takes the Ouellettes to really mature. They are pushing 3 to 4 years old. Learning new things about these birds every day I have them out.
Well, just an up date on the birds...
