You would get more worst cull ever ,if not in first breeding then 2nd generation or third it will be in the genes floating around..why waste your time .go for the good ..best to best and go forward . ---------- Ralph

If you have such low respect for your best it is probably a cull also,so you can't loose either way,I say go for it ! ---------- Just my Opinion Scott

I DON'T see how you breed your worst cull?? If it was your worst,it would be dead. But,on the other hand what do YOU consider a cull?? ---------- Fly High and Roll On Paul

Scott, did you get that straight?
Next time you are putting your pairs down you should forget about quality and take into consideration fruit peddlers, lawyers, and house keepers...lol Now That's a good one!
Keep us posted on your progress...lol

A cull is a bird that doesn't fit the program. You certainly wouldn't want to stock such a bird.

I would add, "the program" is what the fancier deems "his or her wants". If you're goal is frequency, you breed for frequency, depth for depth. I have two different programs in my loft currently, frequency & color.
