If you have black pepperheads in your breeding program, you are on the right track.Although I prefer its opposie to be a black self, and of another eye color....Aloha,Todd

You know it just dawned on me why a newbie would be confused with the term "black pepper head". With the exception of Steves bird they should all be "salt" heads!LOL His is the only one that is truly pepper head. I have never even had one that color. Mine are all black "salt" heads.
Sippi
Never heard of a black salt head either!!! LOL

steve,
We go through this phase about this time every year. I think it has something to do with preparation for the NBRC Fall Fly. Those that are competing ain't saying much and those that don't compete are asking themselves and are being asked the "why not" question. ---------- Just My Take On Things

Hi Butch, I'll let ya know after I fly!!!! They are mostly the same birds I flew last years Fall Fly and in the W/C. I'll most likely lose some flying in the fall fly as hawks are bad then. I just got them back in the air yesterday! I have two squeak kits in the air and one about ready to go out. I'll pull a couple from tha A team to breed after the fly, they will all be 2yrs+.I have three different one's in the A team. I lost two good one's qualifying and flying in the W/C. How have your birds been doing? ---------- Tapp
