a have to older birds who eyes have changed to a dark orange color is this normal with some birds

YEP it is. The eyes will turn anywhere from four weeks to eight weeks to whatever color they are going to be at maturity.

not really sure of there age if i had to guess i would say 2 to 3 years old there eyes were always orange but it looks to me that they have got darker more like the common pigeon look
