Paul,
Let's do this!Scott likes to come out to Hawaii every 2 to 3 years,so let's put on a show for him.Box up 16 to 20 birds and send them out to me.I will pay shipping and vet bill.Scott and yourself select a scoring method.Maybe I can get Rick S. as a judge to the agreed method.I will fly the birds to the agreed method.The fly will be fall 2009,with at least 2 flys.We can set the bar for the fly once the method is agreed on.I will take you,Scott,the judge,and your spouses out to dinner at nicest resturaunts in Honolulu and Waikiki has,on my tab,the nights of the flys.Two of the best pair will be selected,You can keep one and I will keep one.I will send your pair back to you,on my coin.The challenge wouldn't be a challenge without Scott putting up a kit to the same method of scoring in Calif.Predators are not a big problem out here,but I will need time to work with them.
Paul,I am serious,let's resolve this bickering and have some fun along the way.
What do you think?
P.S.If the birds you send had muffs dragging behind them,and if you can try and match the coloration to Scott's "Aloha shirt" that would be the added plus.....Aloha,Todd

Wow Todd..!!
What a great Idea..!! In fact, that way I can continue to breed when hawk season starts.. Seems like a win - win situation..!! I wanted to send the birds out there before, but it was pretty difficult.. (the vet part)
It won't settle the conflict about the scoring system tho..

So todd what are you going to do? You are going to get birds from paul and scott and you are going to fly them out ? Hey maybe you should try and come and join us and fly some club flies? Just a thought. Clayton

Actualy Todd it was a good idea but you are asking me to send you nearly a third of my breeding season,of coarse that isn't going to happen,besides twice I have sent birds over there and said never again,it is just plain to much problem,even promised my vet that if he did it one last time it would be the last LOL ,thanks for the offer but no thanks.
On top of it Paul has made me see the light,he is right and I am wrong,that should settle it.

Scott,actually I was actually speaking of Paul's birds being sent.I offered because of the hawk situation that is relentless in Paul's area.I have to admit,if I had same situation out here,it would be very sad.Any way,If you make it out here the dinner offer still stands.I just finished remodeling two 5 star resturaunts out here and have become good friends with the owners,Mahalo's bruddah!....Todd
