You get birds that spin (Moderator:too hard and irritate their eyes),,,,, This bird spun about 100 feet fast, She came out of the spin flapping fizzling,,,, Then she started to just glide down, No wing action, All the way to the earth.....

No you can't breed them too tight unless they are carrying faults such as these, two choices, either bury it where it only pops up here and there, or don't breed the birds that are throwing the faults. Breeding tight doesn't create the problem,it only exposes it,actualy that bird on top looks like it hit something, possibly another bird. ---------- Just my Opinion Scott

If your get more then half cull the pair, if you get less then half keep breeding and fly out the good ones. You’re going to get junk when you start to tighten the gene pool, only bring in an outcross as your last resort, its better to see it and cull it then hide it for later.

IRIDE can you keep us updated on the little fart. I see the same trait in a pair that I bred for the first time this year. The babies have molted out and you would not know unless I told you. I got it in three of their babies,so I am waiting to see how they perform, I know I cant breed out of their babies but the other siblings are ok. ---------- They gotta Spin to win.....Jay
