damn my birds were flying yesterday and when they all landed i fed them and they all went in except one it was still on top not moving but with its eyes half closed i looked at it close and one eye was half open swollen and red but the other eye was normal and his tail was all the way down and he was all sad what could have happened?

It sounds like he might had bumped coming down.

probaly now it eats sideways will it get better or will it stay like this right now its seperated should i put it back or wait how long?

Eventually, it would heal itself in no time. However, the other eye might be blind. It happen to a few of my birds that try to kill itself. They got one blinded eye and could not pick up the seed right. They later died because they couldn't get enough food.

Separate it give it time time heal all wounds if not their heart on some birds...give it rest for a while .when my birds are wounded the others tends to pick on it and its survival after that.keep an eye on it..

187, I would keep the bird seperate for a couple of weeks at minimum with out flying it. The bird might of hit another bird in the roll, I have seen birds hit each other when they roll sometimes.

Sounds to me,like everyone else said. The bird might have hit something or someone. Give it plenty of feed and REST..
