Hello all
I have recently sent emails to region 9B members that flew in years past...I think that I may have missed a few...so....for anybody that may know somebody that wants to fly or has info on perspective fliers...get it to me ASAP.
The Judge will be Mort Emami from Utah.
Fly dates are Oct 3-5 Fri,Sat Sun....we may drop one day based on the amount of fliers
I need to know if you are flying by Sept. 7th
45.00 is due per flier by Sept. 25th to cover expenses for the judge, food, gas, etc.
The NCRC is picking up the entry fees for two kits per flier.
So if you are flying send me your info...Address, phone number and number of kits...send to paulfullerton@sbcglobal.net

Nick,
I think it is really cool that the club pick up the entrys...that is what it is all about...that is how you pay the members back for working hard to earn money and keep the club going. That is what being in a club is all about...if clubs did not cover the fees for members....there would be no purpose to the club.

Paul,
No arguement here. Clubs need to support the national events and there ain't no better way then to help with the fees. ---------- Just My Take On Things

Good luck to all. It just kills me to see these flys come around and not be able to compete in them. Looks like I am looking at getting rid of the birds for awhile til I can have the time to spend with them that I feel they need. Once again good luck to all. I did not avoid him, I talked to him today. I was getting clarification on the boundries from some of our older Sac Fliers and the NBRC. It appears that they are not in our region and they are about an hour past the border and some are even further.
Right now we are trying to split that group up into there own region and they have the blessing of region 9B....they are to far past our border. So..they are either going to fly in region 9F (i think)....or we are going to bring it up to the executive committee.
Right now we have our 3 days pretty much filled up in our region for the fall fly. We are currently trying to come to a conclusion on flying. They should fly with the fliers in there region. Again...so far Myself, a rep from the EZ club and Cliff Ball have talked and Cliff is going to bring it up to the EC and we will discuss it. If they could break off into there own region that would be great..they have enough fliers.....it will all work out..
I was not...avoiding him....we talked after I got some info.

Like I said...I think a new region is the best...especially with the gas prices being so high...I already told cliff that they have 9B blessing and I will pull for you guys in the EC meetings.
Oh..and by the way..id did it again with my phone..so have him call me again....so I have his number...lol.

hey Paul sources told me that you guys are useing the same cut offs like in the WC all of use in the Ezr club flew with your region including Jr. he lives a lot closer to sac then fresno. If they dont let us start the new region i feel that this region should allow him to fly with them being he flew with them in the WC. If not the guy might get the idea that they get used when there isn't enough flyers in your guys region for more qulifiers just my thought

The world Cup and the NBRC are two different organizations. I do not know if the WC boundries are the same or not. But to me it does not matter...because i am a NBRC regional fly director not a W/C. I know that the boundry is HWY 12...so you guys are not in our region. So why dont you fly with your region....is there a problem? I dont know....all I know is that I have to take care of my region first. We have 15 fliers so our region is pretty much full...and there were at least 3 fliers that took this year off....so we will have more next year.
If regions start to get to big....then you have to start splitting them so that they are manageable....so this may be a time. As far as flying in our region it is up to the Region to let you fly....and right now....our region is full....I will never turn down a flier in our region....and coming to me a month before....instead of a couple months ago....I mean I have the maps and route pretty much done....and it is full...I dont know how I could squeeze you guys in on a three day judge..it is a 2 hr drive from me just to get to your area....that is 4 hours in just travel to and from...and the judge has already booked his flight.
Excepting you guys would also raise the fees for the guys in our region..we are already paying 45.00 each...then getting you guys in....we would have to up the tab for fuel..and fees to change a flight.....and an extra day of feeding the judge etc....so it is almost impossible without starting at square one. We already have our fliers names and money sent off to national for the kits..I mean...we are ready to rock and ROll...
As far as the WC again different organization....If Scott let you guys fly then that was the W.C. decision...maybe Scott had more time.....Plus...didnt a bunch of you guys back out of the WC fly just a day before the fly and we lost a quaulifier......I could be wrong...but I think a bunch of you guys pulled out...and if that happened...that is another reason.......Our region is getting along real good...everyone is friendly to each other...we talk on the phone and everyone has respect for each other right down to the fist time flier...We have good chemistry going on right now in our region...and if I let fliers come over the border and make it harder on my region financially, time and planning...then I need to look out for 9B fliers first..that is what I was put in this post to do...organize and represent the fliers of region 9B....now if the fliers email me and tell me let you in..then we will....but I am pushing for your own region and I think we are at that point...and we have plenty of time to let you form one.....It should be coming out in the EC today...I will keep you all posted....but right now I think it is to late to get into our region....but that is no disrespect to any of you fliers.....we have never used other regions to get qualifiers..if you look at the last 10 years of NBRC and WC fliers..a majority of the time like 90% they are the same group of guys within the borders of region 9B..so I dont think you guys should feel that we only use people for qualifiers when needed...I think the history shows different...anyway...we will be pulling for you to be your own country!!!LOL

hey paul
its cool you dont have to get so mad lol you do what you got to do it cool i was just saying if they didnt allow us to start are region. By the way none of the other guys in our club have said anything about this its just me pushing your buttons im good at that lol. I know that this region thing will get fixed. It just sucks when you live in the middle of the state and cant find a region that will accept you in there flys. With gas prices things in the pigeon world are getting jacked up and that really is a bummer. It gets harder and harder every month to make it our own club flys I hope you dont have any hard feelings
On the WC i flew my kit in the place of one of the flyers because the hawk hit him hard in preping that he didnt have a enoegh birds. another guy moved and tried homming in his kit at the new house and flew thm off but acording to the judge me flying my birds would allow the region to keep there qulifiers
