Yeah,Sip,keep your feet outta that knee deep water,eh!Snakes love it.I remember sailing the outer edges of a hurricane once down in Belize when I lived there.Them squalls hit you like a ton of bricks,you can see them coming.Just drop the sails and motor into it and pray to any god that may be listening.Rain goes sideways and hits you in the face like little pebbles.Waves close and steep in that shallow water down there behind the reef.Tie that mobile loft down Sip!!!!

Thanks guys. We are alive and well. Just a little damp. Around twenty inches of rain so far. The eye came over the house around ten last night and then it got bad. The leading edge wasnt too bad only about an inch and a half. We had twelve inches at one oclock. I dumped it out and we have had another four since. The weather man said tonight we would get around four to eight inches per hour. I cant hardly wait. Water is over my drive way for a quarter mile. Probably wont have a driveway by morning. But the old back hoe and the dump truck still run. Just another day in paradise.
One disadvantage of three open sides on the loft though. A lot of wet birds. The roof wont stop that sideways rain. Wont have to wash out any of them though.
