Just want to say thanx to all the folks that have already given me some input. This has been a great hobbie for me for well over 25years. I have been to alot of shows and have seen alot of great kit's fly.,, Thanx agian to the Thunder Birds for providing a great show. As alot of you know I have kinda settled down in one location, and have competed for the past 2years,,, my location isn't really that great for comp as I live in Lake Isabella about 45min east of Bakersfield, farthest sout end of the sierra nevada mountain range. We fourmed a small club outta Bakersfield with approx 10 members and 6 flyers. What I need Is deatailed instructions on how to fourm a region,,, I just need a template to follow so that it kinda works like a check list so all basis are coverd. I really want to fly my rollers competively now, espically after having a little taste of it. I really want to thank those who have made the treck to support me up here.. Espically the thunderbirds for making things happen for us down here in bakersfield,, truly I understand the hardship, with gas prices and the avilibilty of judges. I think it will be a whole lot eiser once I pin down this region thing. I hope this can be done by this fall fly,, this might be a HUMP but to me it's worth a shot. As I understand there are a few flyers on the cost that might need a home as well. Roughly our boundaries starting on the north side would be Porterville Ca, south would be Fraizer Park CA, East would be Inyokern/ california city Ca. And west would be Santa Maria/ Santa Barbra Ca. I think the is a manageable Box and if anyone is in these areas feel free to contact me. I really would like some input on this check list and could use all the support I can get... Thank's for your time... Truly

Starting a w/c region you must have a min of 6 flyers paying for 15 kits, you need to petition the w/c general cordinater.
For the NBRC that should be Cliff Ball, in which you need a min of 5 flyers paying for two kits.

hi, it's me, Ken Firl. You can email me any time about getting a region or a club going down there and I'll tell you what my experience has been with each.

Booker,
If you have 6 flyers and they fly two kits each, you can earn one qualifier by yourselves. I would suggest you contact the region you are in and see if that region is agreeable to getting a judge to you. If they are stretched as far as they want to go then you petition the NBRC to form a new region. Submit the number of flyers you have now and show your boundaries and the number of NBRC members in those boundaries. I am only in charge of coordinating the competition, not approving new regions, but I am happy to present your petition to the NBRC Executive Committee, or you can send it directly to Jay Yandle, the NBRC President, and he will do so. But I would think that your region should be helpful in getting a regional judge to you....e-mail me in private or call and we can discuss getting you in the competition.
Cliff

Yea thanx for all the input, and anticipate a call sooner... Yea I have contacted the R.D a friend however this is the way we have to go. I will do what ever it takes,,, and relize the whole number of flyer thing.. I believe that honesty is the best policy however when this applyies to the amount of flyers we have my hope is that some will have a blind eye,as that is how it appers to work never theless we will have the flyers... one question could I fly a kit for a friend outta my back yard and it still be considerd another kit...????I have space but my raising partner dosent have the air.. he just gets pulverized everytime he puts a bird up... I Will be flying a kit of his rollers outta my backyard under my management... is this OK>???? Thanx soomuch for the input... TRULY
