Yea just check to see if any damage was done. If there is no damage then keep the bird in for a couple of days then let it out with the rest.

I had the same thing happen to me! A falcon flew outta the trees and hit one of my birds but didn't get a good shot. The bird was fine and I flew it the next day...the birds still doing good today.

hey mario, I think thats a good idea as I've done the same. With the minimal amount of birds I have, Ive already begun to lock down the birds that are fully into the roll. The rest ive got to take my chances and fly them out until october or until they cant be flown out any longer. although, this also really depends on the family of birds. As I wont be letting them out again until march. My family of birds are able to be locked down for 6-7 months and bounce back and be in tip top shape like they were never locked down in the first place with some time on the wing again. Some families are not able to be locked down that long and still be good kit birds. Good luck!

earlier this year.. i did the same thing.. seen probably 2 of mine eaten by hawks and coopers..i tried to scared them off the roller but they just gripped the roller and took off with it.. lost 5 due to getting chase and overflying from the copper..
one of my baldhead yellow bar hen was chased by a cooper.. she ran into the fence in my neighbor's yard.. when my bro went over the fence to get her.. she flew .. water and things was falling off of her.. looked at her when she trapped and she had a hole a size of a nickel or quarter on her chest.. she lived for one week with the hole before she died.. everytime she ate or drink.. the food or water would just come back out of the hole.. felt sorry for her.. but these pigeon are tough..

Projeck, if that happens again just glue the wound back together with crazy glue or stitch it together. You're right these are tough birds and 85% of the time they can survive such a wound.
