Hi everybody,

Who can help me with the rules of the 11 bird fly, I am planning on doing a 11 bird fly in our region later this year.

Hi Jim...

I was thinking about getting involved with an 11 bird fly too. Sounds like a good idea. Good luck!

....well anyway

Here's a webpage of me and my birds @ Deep Spin Lofts several years ago.

Jim,
There are other 11 bird rules floating around. If there was one element I would enjoy seeing added, it would be a progressive point schedule that would also, recognize the number of birds that break in unison. You could add kitting points, anything that you feel needs to be part of the performance you want, in an 11 bird kit. One of the things that was discussed was that we needed to find a way to utilize our deeper quality birds that were ordinarily removed from the 20 bird kits. It was considered good form to have the most homogeneous kit performance wise, as you could get, and a few quality birds were just too deep to keep in some 20 bird kits. The 11 bird fly is a great way to showcase really deep quality spinners, or at least that is the theory. Play with it, get others input, see what you can come up with. What would you like to add? What performance roller characteristics would you most like to see, then reward those when seen.
