Here are some of my new birds I just got today! I now have 9 birds all together. My old white bird died this morning :x ....

What are the reds with the white in them called?? And what is that white bird called??

Srry about your white bird, why did it die? Very nice new birds you have there. Good luck with them. Red birds with some white ticks/speckles are called Red mottles..

Kopetsa im not sure what the other bird died from. I took it to a friends house 2 days ago that had meds to treat it and what not then this morning he found the bird dead...
The bird had like very watery green/yellow poop. The birds feather was fluffed out and the bird wouldn't eat and just would sit alone.....

Hey Game,sorry to here about your bird.Did you treat the rest of your birds?I'am going through the same thing.Things are looking good though.I treated all my birds just in case and made sure everything is clean.Birds look good.

cr250 what are you giving your birds?? What did you treat them with?? I haven't done anything to the other birds. I don't own any medicine yet but will be buying some of the basics this weekend....
The other birds however do look fine so im hopefully non of them have caught anything...

Make sure you don't put these in with your new birds though yet because you need to make sure they are 100% clean.. :)

But yea these new guys have lice and lots of it!! Thats why they are spending the night in the garage until I can take them to my friends house in the morning to get them sprayed.

Game,I use 4n1 that treats for canker,coccidiosis,paratyphoid,and e coli.Treat for 7 to 10 days.
Then give vitamins with electrolites for 3 day.

I think they had coccidiosis but,I'am not really sure.It was some new birds I got and 2 died within a week after I got them.one looked a little sick on the first day.So far looks good.I have all my rubys together in one loft so they weren't exposed but I treated them anyway just in case.

Well guys now im down to 3 birds....this morning I took em out of the cage to put them into a carrying cage and one of the birds escaped. One of the red mottles :(
Of course it had to be the best and healthiest bird of the 4....
