As the Precident of SGVS,i whould like to have better comunication with the local clubs in So,Cal. I noticed that there will be Club Shows from the end of September till mid October back to back. I feel we need to try and spred them out a little. It whould be beneficial to all clubs if we can give People a few weeks to recuparate there money and have some time in between for there families,i know for myself i could not attend show after show after show, everyweekend, you know how the wife can get. So for next year i hope we can work together and come up with show scheduels that whould not be so close together that people will say ,no im not going to this one,im saving my money for next week's show. Just my opinion,, Hector Coya-SGVS precident

I agree...I am from Nor Cal..so I cant really speak for you...but it is true that you have to space the shows out. You start flooding the market and then people get sick of it...or like above...you need the family time too...or you will sleeping with your birds.....anyway...I would space them out months apart...then you have time for family time...a couple fly's to get the juices flowing...then a little break to really think about next show and getting some auction birds to try and add a little spice and then BAM a show and everyone will be there...and by that Time the wives will want some girl time for shopping and let you go to the show...in exchange for some doe!!

Not just Southern California clubs all clubs in california hector lots of us travel out of town to the shows. Also hector maybe all the reps from all cubs should get together and if your club is having shows it should be talked about and put down on paper. ----------

Actually the Benefit show was just certain members from 4 different clubs but the only club that helped us with the show was SGVS. Thanks again guys!
And thanks to everyone who attended and donated to the show. This was the biggest show this year.
The Bob Scott Memorial will be at the same location and should be just as big so don't miss it.

Hector Having the shows all at the end of the year may help some people get some decent Birds at a decent price.
By having the shows close to each other it spreads the Love , people wont have to pay a small fortune just to get a pigeon from the auction.
and the Birds are usually out of the moult at the end of the year. So thats the Best time for a show.
I dont think you guys have any thing to worry about since the Birds you guys are auctioning will be Flown and picked out of the Air.
As far as I know SGVS is the only show that is giving people a chance to "pick from the air".
In my book thats the way to go " from the Air "
Good luck George

Thanks George Just imagine trying to come to So Cal for a show,if they are so close together you might aswell move down here for the month. we need to spred them by 3 weeks atleast. Like i said poeple cant afford to buy birds everyweekend. And most married people cant get away from there family everyweekend. Just my opinion. Hector Coya-SGVS

Here is a ideal that might be useful. Since we all have to buy feed why don't we put up a white board calender at some of the local feed stores that will indicate the upcoming events, shows, and contact numbers. This will some what help the lack of communication problems that sometimes occur. After all the best information is shared information.
