Yeah they all are Orientals. Most all Orientals have pearl or bull eyes. I have a couple of orange eyes.

Bull eyes, orange eyes, yellow eyes, and pearl eyes are the only colors that I know of in rollers. I have some of each. I have 2 birds that have 1 bull eye each and only one bird with both.

To heck with the judges and what they like. We're talking performance birds here,eh and as far as my birds go the pearly eyed ones are my best and favourites then the orange ones are good rollers too.The 1/2 Barrett hen i have throwing bulleyed youngs is on her way out.Too unstable and too many issues compared to my pure Monty Neible birds

Bull eye is usually the abscense of pigment of the white carrying across the eye causing it to appear black. Most times a bird with only be bulleyed if it is white around the eye. There are exceptions.

Good explaination sippi.how come you're so sober and sensible alla time?(cept for your politics)
Dang Andrew,as long as you get the point of not breeding your performance birds to please the show judge,I'll think we;re getting through to you.

Not that I'd breed them for looks, but I have to admit I think pearl eyes are prettiest.

This isn't a roller, but he's got very striking colors, with black feathers, white or pearl eyes, and red eye ceres:

From what I understand, they're something like a tippler. They fly in kits and return to the loft, but they don't roll. I only have the one though - a stray someone didn't want back.
