No , not at all , I have a small loft/cage with about 15 birds. So when I opened it he slipped by me . I have 6 birds that I let fly. I have two sets of Brown Checks, blacks , and blue bars w/white flights and a few extra browns which all look similar . I got the six and let them up when I noticed then called them right in . Thats when he was taken.

I doubt the hen will sit on the eggs until they hatch all by herself. If you have any foster birds that laid about the same time frame, I would slip them under that pair. Other wise good luck.

Don't fly you breeders. I did that mistake once and never will again. Fly only the babies.
