how can i make sure my hut always smells nice other than cleaning it regularly is there anything i can put after cleaning to give it a good smell...........
Do what Kel been doing and I am doing now too spray around with Vinegar ..helps smell better..I use to always spray clorax but Vinegar is healthy to breathe.. ---------- Ralph
Plain old white vinegar will help keep the smell down . Vinegar can be used routinely and safely in the rollers loft as an effective cleaning and disinfecting agent.I spray the perches too. I use it straight in a spray bottle. or if you want fill half with water half vinegar.I use it strong.no mixing.---------- Now for birds drinking water i put 2 tablespoon to a gallon of water/ ACV.. Keep it mixed up 1/2-1/2 in a spray bottle by your loft n kitboxes.Whenever you scrape afterwards give it a spray and it'll sweeten it up alright. ---------- Kel. Rum-30 Lofts
Couple handfulls of scented kitty litter tossed around the floor works well too. Good for the kit boxes that has solid floors.
