I use nothing,,, I kinda just have two doors... I have a diffrent set up. I raise outta a 8x12 foot loft broke into three sections for breeding and have two kit boxes inside... I have kinda a corradoor and the birds come in trough a window with a splunket over the window... this allows the birds to come into the loft if I happen to leave... once in the loft I feed them into their respective kit boxes...

fresnobirdman, First welcome, second what is your name? I like talking to people not monikers. I use a 45% drop trap, it's cheap and easy to make. My birds train to it quickly and will almost run through it. If I were flying larger kits I would use a double trap.
Square, what is a splunket?

I use traps, but if I build another kitbox, I will try the 45s. I like the way they look and my birds can work back through my traps if they are really hungry. ---------- Val

Lee there are a few ways you can prevent the wires from sliding. Every gap you see you could place a bead. Or you can cut out lil clear tubes to the size you want and evenly space them...

I have Belgium drop traps and bobs. I really like the drop traps but they take a lot of space on the kit box. I will probably go to all PVC 45's eventually. I have a bird occasionally get out of the bobs but I rarely leave them open unless birds are flying.

I have bobs on one box and 2, 45 degree drop traps, per side on my double kit box.. I prefer the drop traps, my birds don't seem to like the bobs when they touch their backs as they go through. ---------- "Semper Fi" SD
