I would like to repost the correct band ID info on the roller that found us Wednesday - VPRC NPRC 2008 1144. We live in Portsmouth, VA so if anyone knows a local contact, please let me know!
Is there a way to post photos on this forum?

Most of us use photobucket! Copy the HTML image and go to the forum and paste it. I size my picture to the 480 x 640 size. Its easier for me to size it before I download it in photobucket. It gives you the option when you get in there. This way it is downloaded at the right size and you don't have to resize it if you want to post it again at a later date.

you need to upload the photo on photobucket.com...
then go to the 3rd html down, under the photo. hit copy.
then come back here and hit paste. bingo. thats it.
many of us have had problems doing this . you might have to try a couple times but its really not that hard once you get it.
how is the "lil fella" ? JUst remember fresh water and most any bird seed will get ya thru. the bird will pick out what he wants to eat from it.
good luck finding the owner, and I hope you get the photo posted.
