If i remember correctly,Mad Max use to come here quite often to waste his time,now that he knows enough he feels its a waste of time.
Marlon you have to realize everyone that is starting is asking the same simple questions you did,now it is time for you to answer some of thos questions youve learned in your 5 years of breeding.

To a certain point I believe theres much wasted time. Some of the Questions asked can be read on the NBRC bulletin. Good chance that alot of the guys posting messages are not even part of the NBRC. Theres alot of good information available at times. " Examples of wasted time such as: Man, theres so many, I'll be here posting them all night.
Im not saying theres not good information being posted. Because there is and im one to say i've learn some from here. We just need to use it more wisely.

Well, what's this site coming to, this is a roller forum. If someone wants to ask a thoughtful roller question they can, if someone just needs a short and simple answer on if they should give their kit birds grit or not - they are certainly welcome to ask.
Or better yet, if it is really a waste of precious time, do something more important like watching the latest reality show on the boob tube and seeing who gets kicked off the island.
My personal opinion is that if you have a passion for something like roller pigeons, then anytime spent toward that endeavor is a positive and wholesome activity and IS well spent.

Hehehehe, That's funny Kel, while I watch TV, it adds up to about 5 maybe 6 hours a week. I usually watch Bones, one or two CSI type programs along with Shockwave and Discovery. A game or two of football and not much else.
I used to tell my kids don't waste your lives in front of a TV, star in your own lives. I work everyday to make living my dream a reality.

you can ask questions on the NBRC but its not the same as here where your question will be answer in a matter of seconds .totally different.. does anybody know if the NBRC still have a forum to chat on..?

From talking to Mad Max, I think he should have maby worded it diffrent,, from what I understand after talking to him ,, he was basically reffering to "Tall Tales", and things people say to pump themselves or their rollers up.. Like one for me that I learned was to hold the bird by the body and tilt it back and forth to see if it's a good roller... Ive found that this is B.S...LOL and their are so many more... but I think that was the jist of his point... I think he just fired it out the wrong way,,... I see your point Mad one,,, But I ant scared of you "little big brother!!!"LOL.. Ill be seeing you sooner.... P.S Max I would really like my dark checker back... you know the one in the first video.. at about the 4min 45sec mark ... That one is definantly mine...LOL ONE!!!

No problem here mad Max! I was wondering what you were asking in your first post, guess I just read it wrong!
I don't like the roller subject to stray to far off either, but I enjoy cutting up once in awhile and having fun with my friends. I do consider most of you "my friends"! Other than work and my family, flying my birds and hangin out here is what I do!
