i dont have too many tools to cut certain parts of the boards.
like the part where the traps go.

Hello:
The small cage will hold 20 bird's with box perches, the larger cage will hold 25 to 30 bird's with either box or V perches.
To bulild the cages all you need is a Skill Saw, Jig saw or Table Saw, Screws & a Screw gun (Drill Motor. The basics is a Skill Saw & Screw gun and some would glue. Remember to not throw away the scrapes because that is whwt you use to make the perches with. The Smaller cage is easier to make, less wood & you only need the basic's so far as tools go. You frame it with 2 x 2"'s and sheet it with 1/4" plywood. Remember to keep it square as you can. the basic demenisions are 4'high x 4' wide and 3'deep. Use 1" x 1" wire for floor and make the poop tray out of plywood and double the 2 x 2's to make it about 3" high. make sure to leave a 1" gap at the top on both sides for ventenlition, cover this area with 1/2" wire cloth. Make sure you paint it so it will last longer and not be an eye sore in the back yard.
