Hey Jimmi
Ill tell you one thing, when those lowlifes want your birds it dont matter where you live,i live in a nice area, and ive been ripped off 4 times. but when you compete or become part of a club you open yourself for the hole world to know what you got.Unfortunatly its part of the hobby.

Hector is right, when you become a member of a club, everyone will know where you live and what birds you have.
A few years back, a guy by the name of McCray, I can't remember his first name got ripped off big time. He was winning all the major flys and
everyone got to know him. Unfortunately, a few lowlife's
took ruined his day. I have 3 dogs that absolutely hate strangers and will bark and attack anyone that tries to get into my backyard. I've had Rollers now for 13 yrs and no thefts. Hopefully, that'll continue.

LOL on that ferocious guard dog! Actually, a Yorkie was one of the best watch dogs I ever had, and she never barked at anything that was really not supposed to be there.

Cute pictures! Sorry to hear about the bird thefts. That's just so low.

It is and always has been my contention that a roller thief is a mentally dilapidated excuse for a vomitus mass posing as a human being. It’s unfortunate that the anemic value system of some people is so deteriorated that they would risk going on another grown man’s property to steal a bird.
Yes my friends we all love rollers but when all is said and done, to risk one’s life over a creature who’s intelligence barely exceeds that of the perch it stands on, only gives us a clear vantage point of the pathetic character that is clearly displayed in this thieving animal’s apparent but unfortunate cerebral departure.

It has always been my hope however un-Christian like, to have the opportunity to engage one of these pitiful cowards in a physical confrontation that would go down in the annals of foot engaging orifice history. However I’ve yet to be honored with this privilege but look forward to the meeting with an intriguing sense of bliss.

For those of you who have had this unfortunate travesty interrupt your enjoyment of such a wonderful hobby, I as a fellow roller-man am sorry. However it is imperative that you keep in mind that many of us who have not experienced this type of loss still empathize with you and in more cases than not, would be glad to assist in getting you back on track with birds again.

If anyone happens to be reading this post and the shoe happens to slide on your foot rather easily, please take note that being a pigeon thief puts you in a very precarious position and there are some of us who will take delight in presenting you with a dilemma.

Although I was a regular for a while, and even moderated the site for a very short period, I haven’t posted here for quite some time and do not recognize many of the names I see, therefore I’m sure most here will not know who I am because of my absence and I do not have the popularity of some.
Yet I see it’s still an informative place to be with a group of nice guys.
For those who are good roller men, I salute you and look forward to enjoying the hobby with you in the near future.

See You In The Roll...

Hi Al,

Nice to see you posting again! Are you back into birds? Last I remember you had a very nice family of predominately blue checks.

Take care,
Russ

That Guard dog of yours will also be jack too if they spot that dog. In my area, yorky always are lost and stolen. It's because they cost a grip. I wouldn't want that dog to get stolen as well.

Hi Russ, Long time!
I'm not flying but my core breeders are farmed out between 3 guys and seem to be doing ok. Hopefully in "09" I will be back in the game and hopefully in competition. Some of the youngsters from those breeders may being flying in a couple of the Fall Fly competitor's kits this year but I'm not sure yet, have to check the status.
