hey all, i just want to introduce myself, my name is tom and im getting into breeding and flying rollers again its been a long time, 18 yrs. in fact, see i used to have rollers when i was a teen behind my garage i had a huge loft,well after getting married and having to move several times i could not have any pigeons,well now i own my own home and i am getting back in to it, i always loved this hobby,im a little lucky because my nephew is a member of the cprc club and he gave me 6 pair of breeders and a kit to fly all young 08 birds,i will post pictures as soon as i can so you can see what i have,i would also like to say that this website is awesome and has a ton of info that i have been following thanks to all of you and your expertise on this hobby,hope to make lots of friends

Thanks for the warm welcome ALL! :) i'm going to have lots of new friends here,first to answer your questions,i live in the city of commerce ca.which is located just south of east los angeles near the 710/5 freeways,so close that my pigeons are sometimes flying in the fast lane,definitely not good, so i had to take all my deep rollers out of the kit that i fly so they wont roll into traffic,i haven't lost one yet.thanks to my nephew JOHN GARCIA a(CPRC) member and a member of the NBRC who lives in rialto ca. I am off to a good start the birds he gave me are already producing offspring and are from the Jerry Higgins and Norm Reed lines. thanks again.

hey Robert, thanks for the welcome,thats cool you live in montebello,maybe some day we could get together for some pigeon chat over a beer lol,so how old are you?im 47 and i love my birds,:) back in the day we didn't have the internet like we do now,its cool to have such a good website like this,it blows my mind to see how many people are in to this hobby. hey spanky, nice to meet you,i heard of your club and i have seen some of your members over at the park in el monte on thursdays once a month but i never got the chance to talk to any of them,i'll be going again next month i hope,maybe i,ll meet you there cool. :)
