Yea I posted somthing on this last year,, I was wondering the same thing and got alot of diffrent awnsers..I have herd some say as soon as you buyum. As soon as you start feedingum, and even the birds born in your loft.I have even herd of guy's buying birds from another breeder and then showing them as their own for a trophy LOL. My personal opion is this..if you get a pair or several pars from a breeder,, and he tells you how to pairum then they are still the work of that breeder.. however ifl be with my own bird's. people will be interested in what I cultivated not comming to me because I have some other great guy's rollers.. Like I say where I got my rollers will always be reconized but I am responsible for what I make outta them....good or bad... Hope this helps/...

If YOU choose the parents and pair em up the way YOU like em. As soon as YOU put those bands on them babies, they become YOUR line.

Once you start to put pairs down, its your decision, not the previous breeder way anymore. So, I guess after you breed from the ones you bred up, then you can call them your own.

What is a Pensom?

I know that a Billings is a line of birds bred by Ken Billings if you trace back far enough I believe the line origionated from Pensom.
Who is breeding birds that still came directly out of Pensoms loft?

Hey Projeck, it would be YOUR family of birds. Down out of Billings and Reed bloodlines.
