Hey All, The diversity among us is enormous!! Young and old, every ethnitcity imaginable, every walk of life possible! Yet, we all fall asleep with the same dream! So called backyarders or die hard competitor, first timers or returnee's the dream is still the same! Your kit turns into the wind, pauses slightly and breaks in unison, there are tight ten footers, fast but slightly deeper twenties catch the kit and start rebuilding, while the deep thirty footers plus struggle to get back barely making the kit before the next break! That is my dream, I hope it is your's!

Diversity is what makes the world go round. It would be a boring world if all fanciers did everything the same and the quality of all our birds was the same.

Hello Thom, No matter where in the world you are, the same ideas apply as far as standing under a kit of birds, watching them put on a show. Complete strangers come together for a common cause, and that is to enjoy these small creatures that we all truly enjoy..As far as the break in unison goes, well that doesnt happen much in my backyard. :)
Thanks for the thread

As a military member I have traveled to many different countries, some by choice others not. Despite language and cultural barriers I have always found other pigeon fanciers and found a common ground. I have stopped at homes where I saw birds and after contacting the owner been invited in to see the birds and was treated as an honored guest. The power these birds have over fanciers is incredible.
