Hey I have a real problem its driving me crazy I have a good secure team right now but they are still heavy in the moult but they work ok togethe they average about 250- 300 per fly but there timing is a little off we have no hawk right now but they are hitting others right now ive been lucky we still have about 4 weeks before fly and i love to see these bird fly and i dont want to lose them what would you do

hey tony what is so provocative about the title
the post is what it is am ready for war but now one to fight my bird are ready but the competion date is a upon us yet i simply ask people to tell what they would do until it time for war how would they manage them and also remeber am mad max never of the norm and not trying to harm just living free in the good usa

Marlon, No one knows your family of birds like you do! You have to ask yourself- will an extended lockdown hurt them or rejuvenate them for an all out explosive performance when flown. In your experience and experimentation with your flyers, what has an extended lockdown done to their performance, or what can I get away with, and for how long before sitting on that perch has a negative effect on performance. They can't be lost or chased if their in the kit box. I think sometimes we fail to allow our birds to build up the desire to show their stuff but most times it depends on the family. Mine like a little R & R before show time. I just heard of a former FF winner that had a 10 day lockdown because of hurricanes and rain and still put up a great score straight out the box. . Yea marlon,, You know your birds best... There are alot of things on the market than can help you getum fit... But for me what has worked is a little or alot of Safflower oil on the feed. I do this because the heat here in my parts causes them to moult really heavy... just like the heat in L.V. So my solution to you is 'Saflower oil', it also has a natural antioxidant in it and is just all around good for birds in the moult... Try it for a week and let me know what you think... Oye and rember "Never bring a Buzzard to a Pigeon fight" LOL..... ONE

Just do like the rest of us and well....guess and hope it all works out...lol..I am debating on giving my birds 2 days rest or three days rest before the fly...lol..I am going with 3 just because they are still moulting...

Flow them for lucky yesterday he approved
he said that they are the best he ever seen over here and i believe he is lying of coursre I really dont see it. I believe there young an inexperience they are still changing everyday I think the best is yet to be seen to me there strong performers roll alot but shaky mentally i need more dedication.
