This Morning I recieved A few calls from my elders in the sport. They were concerned about the way Ive been going about my business lately.
They stress patience and also the said i should conduct my self in a more professional manner Actually it was Willie Wright,Randy Gibson,and ? he didnt want me to say.
I told them that i was ready to take my place in this hobby I was going to challenge this person and this person matter a fact everybody. they Laugh so hard and then went quite for a moment. The reply hurt my feelings, because I had no reason why they were laughing.I though they were saying my birds were not good enough.
After Willie stop laughing. he say what will that get yah I said recognition he said and what if you lose I said well then i will know were i stand HE SAID and if you win or lose let the birds do the talking and stay focus dont get caught up in the he sa y she say crap it will only hurt you in the long run!stay humble like Abel he said (Quiet) just let the birds Talk is just
!Randy replied in a similar way also he said we know you have very good birds and others do too but the birds can do anything on fly day and leave you holding the stick
He said if you stay consistant and be patient the bird will propel you into the rightful position.
How grateful I am to have such honest friends that are willing to let me know when to back off

Patience is a virtue,I had rollers for 7 years now and a member of the East Coast Roller Association,was not flying comps because I did not think my birds were good enough!!!!
well this year they talked me into flying against some TOP NAME birds,was a little leary but flew anyways,turned out I flew 2 kits and finished 2nd and 4th,be modest and listen and learn,do not talk,lesson learned!!!!

Dam Mad Max,, You kinda jerked alittle tear from myeye...LOL Marlon I know you and think you have a diffrent approch,,, thats all ,,, your delivery is sometimes harsh but ive lerned thats just you... I would WOFF SH*#! on you all day,, when I lived in Vegas and we had a HOOT... you have put alot of time and effort into your birds,, and have aquired some of the best stock that this sport has to offer, this is from what ive seen and read. So its only right you want to hit up folks and compare your birds to the best.. And it's good to get thease folks all fired up (Withen Reason).. I cant wait to see you on the competive level,, for me Im used to your type of "WOFFN" you know that, and Ill still pull up to your house in a Fire Engine(Green in color) and tell you to crack the box...LOL. you are a clasic cat and I admire your agression,,,But im comming!!! and never forget 2much bubblin can make you fizz quicker....LOL...NOW>>>>

These little dummies can and will make you look stupid in a heart beat, reputations are built by the birds doing the talking over the years, not just a couple a good flys,and good flys are hard to come by.
Here next weekend my ass will be handed to me in this region as I screwed up,it is just the way it is.

Mad Max, treasure friends like them. Too many people will smile to your face and laugh behind your back. It takes true friends to tell you when they think you are screwing up. After 67 years, I have finally decided that actions and results carry far more weight than the flapping of lips! I wish you success with your birds and in the major scheme of life.
