I HAVE A GOOD BIRD IT HAS A PIMPLE TYPE BUMP NEXT TO EYE SOCKET ....EYE SEEMS OK,BIRD FLYING OK,IT DOES NOT LOOK SICK.ANY IDEA WHATS WRONG WITH IT ,ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL THANKS RICK PS.I HAVE REMOVED IT FROM KIT............

Ay rick that sounds like pox you want to keep tha bird away from the others first of all change the water put a half of teaspoon ob bleach in the water. You can also try to pop the pox with your hands and get a cotton swap put a little bleach on it and apply in effected area it should be fine in a couple days.Edgar

cv rollers just go get some powered sulfur, power the feed when you feed them. Give them all powered feed for about a week and that should get rid of it. JDA

PLS, mosquitos are likely causing the problem!
My birds had pox late last summer and I was noticing lots of mosqitos in the kitbox. I would go out and check after dark with a flashlight and there would be several mosquites flying around in the boxes and clinging to the top. I sprinkled a little seven dust on the birds and around in the box and on the perches and they stayed away.
The pox has to run its course! Keep the infected birds in quarantine and change the water as often as possible! ---------- Val

i'v been curing my birds with carmax, pox is like a cold soar so i tried it.it has been a week and it's working fine.
