Mad Max I have a check female that did the same thing . It cleared up in a couple of days.
She is a frequent spinner however the depth is only 5 ft but fast
It only happens in one Eye.. Can any one explain this ? Is this genetic if so we should not breed from them.

Yea I read it was a fault too . plus their is alot of birds with high velocity that don't get blood in there eyes.why breed from a bird that does..maybe Scott can shine in on this one I think it was within his post I read its a bad gene.. ----------. Ralph

Only one eye? Sometimes it has nothing to do with rolling speed. I've had birds do that when they bump into each other during a break.

Thank you for the response from the guys that are taking this post serious.
I thought this would be helpful others That is why I shared this with rpdc any way the bird eye cleared up in 3 hrs and flow the next day and it has been fine. Some of you guys are probably right. it was speed He is about 15 ft violent it was also 20-30 mph wind. imagine going into a spin and a wing gust hit you at the same time you think that would cause it. or is like a jet pilot when they go into a dive in a jet and pull up is it caused by G forces that bust a vessel in the eye.Give me your thoughts

There's equal force on each eye while rolling. Why only one eye red?

Do you think it's from speed?
Or do you think it's from another spinning bird hitting it in the eye while rolling?

I thought mine got hit by another bird as well. however this has happened to her at least 5 more times. It is the same eye every time I have birds that spin faster than her and it does not happen to them.
I also think it is a weak eye that cannot hold the pressure.
