Ralph,
I think it was 1 kit with 24 breaks....but he is a fireman, so he was probably having trouble typing.

I am happy with the score....the kit was very active....just a young bird kit that was hitting on all cylinders...there was some water falling and some non scoreable breaks. They were not very deep.....but worked hard.

There are a lot of good kits flying tomorrow and Sunday...if the weather holds there should be some good scores tomorrow and Sunday....You still Have Ken Firl, Dwight Wallace, Chuck Roe, Scott Campbell, WIll Smith, Pearson, Bills and Brent Timeus....they could all pull the pin tomorrow.

I am nervous as hell...had a talk with the A-team and told them they better not be outdone by the B-team....LOL

Will,

LOL..Waterfall...LOL...Hey not problem and thanks for the love. You call me anytime, email me or come by and I will put my kit up and talk pigeons. I have no secrets in this sport...i will give you different feeding schedules that I have tried to try on your birds and my training schedule.....anything you need I and the rest of the club are here for you. I just like to pay it forward...>Fliers like Chuck Roe, Scott Campbell, Ken Firl, Dwight Wallace, Bill Crider and the list goes on...helped me in every way when I first got started. It is all about try and try again....and listening to every aspect of roller flying...separating the bullshit, from the truth from the old wives tales....and putting it to your birds and there is only one way to do it and that is trial and error and lots of notes....again..My door is always open.

List,

I wanted to publicly thank Paul for a job well done for this years Fall Fly. Everything ran more or less on schedule and we had a great turnout with 10 or so guys coming over from the Bay Area's region 9c and the African American roller club to offer us support, encouragement, and good natured ribbing included!

Paul's positive atitude and excitement for the birds is clearly infectious and he was just the guy we needed to bring back enthusiasm for our area.

So..... Paul thank you for a job well done.

Sincerely,

Ken

Way to go "Waterfall"! LOL! That's pretty gutsy puttin' up a young bird kit in the 20-bird. Most of my young birds will waterfall until the second year, unless I fly a few of the best of the first round with the holdover kit...then they seem get the idea and learn to break with the kit by the fall. Anyway...congratulations on making qualifier in a tough region.

kfirl,
It's good to see you put up some numbers! Now that wasn't so bad was it! Good work!

Cliff,

actually it was very painful. I fe my kit too way too much anticpating some heavier rain and winds and they soared up and almost out of site.

I think it was my worst Fall Fly performance out of the 10 I've been in.

On the other hand, I did help Darrel Pearson qualify. At least I can be proud of that.
