Yes they perform very well. I have other birds from Johnny and they come in early and spin very fast with quality and average 20-30 foot spinners.

Anybody with enough spin is going to have some roll downs. Johnny's birds are going to be on the hot side just like Jerry's birds. They both like the softer charactered birds VS stronger charactered birds who are more resistant to the roll. The deal is Johnny knows how to balance that character real well with his birds. If you have Johnnys birds and have a pair producing roll downs call him and ask him which way to go with them... he will know. Sounds like somebody has a pair that are mated too hot... It happens. I had a pair together last year (his birds) that were too hot together too, but are OK bred to different mates stronger in charactor.

Good answer Joe. I rather have alot of roll than to have problems trying to get the birds to roll. And Johnny does help you pair your birds. I love flying new kits and seeing them come in early. You usually first notice a 5 foot ball and before long 15 feet fast and then it varies up to 30 and sometimes 40 feet is the most I've seen out of my birds. Loving it cant wait till next year should be a good one for me. Good luck everyone.

He used to have a lot of rec reds and spangles. I've been seeing more chk patterns in self from him. His birds don't waste any time coming into the roll.
