I had a young bird out today that I thought for sure was a goner. My bird was flying low and learning the area, then all the sudden a falcon went after it. My bird started to dive down and so did the falcon. I then lost sight of the two and never saw my bird fly up and away. I was 99% sure he was done for.
Later tonight after I came home from work he was in the loft!! I was very happy :) especially because I only have 8 birds.
Are our Birmingham Rollers capable of out flying hawks and falcons?? I know on a dive a falcon would destroy a pigeon.

Game, In my experience a falcon will get your birds. He will not give up till he gets one.My birds out run hawks and the hawk gives up easier. The hawk will get one sooner or later when he learns how to hunt them. All I can say is welcome to the game. Brian
