Hello all,
Its my first post here so ill start of by saying Hello to all,
Ive benn lurking around here for a while before becoming a member with the help of Tony,
Ive raised Rollers, Fantails, Owls in the past, But my most loving was for the Roller, growning up it just was more excitement to see a pigeon do the coolest thing in the air,
Anyways Ive been out of the game for about 10 years now, and everytime I look in my den I see the trophies I acquired and it does nothing but bring back great memories of those younger roller days( Im still young lol,32), So for the past year ive been communicating with a friend of mine for some birds and it has finally begun to happen, So its a matter of weeks before they arrive, and ive started to build my breeding loft with excitement,

The loft isnt done yet, need the flight pen and some perches,
Oh ya and that domestic pigeon posing there in the loft is 4 month old friend of mine "Tango" that ive raised since he was 10 days old, he's there just guarding over the loft for me.
Ill post pics of more when the loft is more completed.

It sure does, especially when your building alone, it gives you that third hand, if you know what i mean, then all you do is go back and screw it together.

He stays outside now,
Leaves for a couple days and comes back, eventually he'll find his way, and move on.

Looks good Tony.I'd paint everything inside and out it sure cleans up easier with paint on it.Primer and 2 coats latex paint inside and 2 coats solid colour latex stain outside.Perches and the works.

Sal,
What is your reason for not painting the inside?I've found if one doesn't paint inside,the dirt permeates the bare wood and you'll never get it clean looking again.
